Green Pool Cleanup

Day 1

  1. Lower pH to 7.2
  2. Raise chlorine up to 10 ppm using liquid chlorine
    1. One gallon of liquid chlorine raises chlorine 10-12 ppm per 10,000 gallons
  3. Turn the filter off or bypass it
  4. Add one quart of PR-10,000 around the perimeter of the pool
  5. Add one quart of CV-600/700 around the perimeter or in the skimmer/gutter
  6. Brush the pool


Day 2, 3 or 4

  1. Vacuum the pool (to waste)
  2. Adjust pool chemistry into proper LSI balance and ranges
    1. Begin normal chlorination
  3. Clean filter and run on regular cycle


Weekly and Monthly Maintenance

  1. Use Orenda App to continue to balance water (according to the LSI)
  2. Use 4-5  ounces of CV-600/700 each week
  3. Clean filter as needed
  4. Use PR-10,000 only as needed to keep phosphate levels down
